The Boathouse, Stobo Lake

Our last day of deep relaxation was rounded off by lunch and a walk down to the Japanese Water Gardens that are fed by Lake Stobo (& that I managed to fall into as well!).

Then a trip to The Botanic Gardens at Dawyk where we bumped into friends so had a lovely walk round and catch up.

We arrived home to see our new front garden for the first time - we love it! And then rounded off the evening with a takeaway and impromptu drinks round the firepit at a neighbour's - blissful and still 2 days off - yay!
