Now, as I see it......

Last game of the season

The end of a Winter's Tale for Bedford Rugby Club today with the last game of the normal season. They played Bristol and I have to say that, Measure for Measure, Bristol were the better team. Bedford didn't play As You Like It and their performance was a Comedy of Errors. Although they tried hard it was Love's Labour's Lost as they went down 6-39. But in some ways it was Much Ado about Nothing as Bedford have already qualified for the play-offs, so All's Well That Ends Well.

Next Sunday is the home leg of the play-offs, and who do we play? Bristol. Could be a bit of a Tempest.

At half time we were entertained by the Bedford Town Band who, in recognition of today being St. Georges Day, played 'Baggy Trousers' by Madness.

I'm still trying to work out the significance.
