Blanket started

When we were awaiting our first granddaughter, I did loads of knitting in lovely pastel colours. No 2 granddaughter is expected in the summer and as I know they have all the baby gear still from M. I have started to crochet a nice bright blanket for the new addition. I am using rainbow wool along with the white. Not decided yet if I like the way the colours are evolving, but at least it is a bit different.
At least I can do this without making my sore toe any worse.
