Fred is a resident of Mogollon, a Mining Ghost Town near Silver City New Mexico. He has been acting as Assistant Curator of the Mogollon Museum and gave us background on the history of the town.

Gold and Silver were actively mined here from about 1915 to 1930. Last miner gave up around 1948. Then Mogollon became a Ghost Town. In the past 15 years or so has seen a resurgence in activity because of Tourism.

Now the population has blossomed to about 25 residents.
