After a long breakfast, I went with Mme A, Miss L, our guests, another friend and his daughter to Nine Mile Burn for an outing into the hills. It was a real "feel-good" day when the weather ended up being much better than forecast. A few bailed out early for various reasons, but six of us ran over the hills and home via the Estate. Our friends know the Pentlands well from when they lived in Edinburgh but, despite only really having done ParkRuns, the student [Extra] managed to keep up well in the hills.

Back home, with an entrance full of trainers [Extra] we demolished large amounts of food and the children raided our library.
