Lovely Langstrath

Out with M today, another client on a slow journey back to fitness.
Waking to heavy snowfall was a shock, but it was obvious that it was never going to settle, still another jacket needed to go in the rucksack. As it was the day, glowed, glistened & glowered in equal measure, but we managed not just to stay dry but also to find dry enough rock to scramble on and work on movement and confidence skills for M.
Our destination for the day was the lovely secluded valley of Langstrath. Even on a Sunday we saw only four other people and had the classic Cam Crag Ridge to ourselves.
Whilst my choice of Blip was obvious we saw several other things of interest, so there are a few extras today:
• A shot of me to put the scale of the valley and the route into perspective.
• The ghostly face in the rock I found half way up a cliff.
• A very new born lamb, struggling to get to her feet. The colour tinge is birthing fluids still being licked by a rightly protective mum.
