Floats

These floats formerly delineated a swimming area off Playa Contramar, the least visited beach in all of Zihuatanejo. Now they just form an interesting bunch of patterns and textures in the middle of the cove. I often look to photograph them when visiting this isolated beach, but usually the sunlight is too harsh creating deep shadows that are unmanageable in the JPG files my underwater Canon produces. Today, however, the sun was hidden behind some light overcast, creating the perfect subdued light with which to capture these floats. Conversion to black & white further improved this still-life style photo.
