After a long winter lay-off, you kinda forget just how damn fast these 1000cc superbikes really are.

This is Mick Robertson from Danderhall, near Edinburgh on his Kawasaki ZX10-R.
He is competing in the British Superstock Championship this season, but he entered this local meeting to get some extra track-time. It just goes to show the gulf in class, as he utterly dominated all 4 races he entered this weekend. The local boys were glad when he decided to sit out the 5th & final race of the day!

I'll be down at Oulton Park next weekend, and I'm looking forward to see how he gets on against the top riders on the national scene.
