We will remember them.

Today was ANZAC (Australia, New Zealand, Army Corps) day here in NZ.
It is our day of remembrance for those that both serve or have served and died in conflict and peacekeeping operations.
The weather again stayed clear and not to cold.
It is heart warming to see little ones turning out wearing the medals of those that can no longer be with us.

Extra photo is of the Fields of remembrance. A white cross is placed each year of the centenary of WW1 for each soul lost from the district  during the conflict as it unfolded. The numbers grow around NZ all to fast.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
