St John's House Museum

One of my least exciting images - sorry!

Something of a rush about day,  I walked around Warwick this morning checking with some of the places we might go to for tomorrow's Warwick blipmeet and took a few photographs as I went.  St John's House Museum was the home of a wealthy local in the 1700s but has been a musum since the early part of the last century.

We collected a car load of boxes from our son's house as he too is moving, but will be staying with us for a month or so before moving to Leeds for his new job!
Rushed home to meet the VM chap who had come to repair the telephone cable ... the one we damaged retrieving box trees from the garden ... he found the damaged section and had fixed it by the time we arrived home, 10 minutes before the appointment time.
Off out tonight for German and Choral Society - so sadly - no time for monomonday :-(

Some good news though ... I went into the Tourist Info Centre to ask about town maps,  had a conversation about photographing the town, showed them the Flikr album I set up for the blipmeet, and they have asked to use them in the town's tourist promotional material :-)
So Blipfoto clearly has advanced my photography!
