Bridge Street, Stratford on Avon

This was Stratford at lunchtime today. The flags are still flying to commemorate Shakespeare's birthday and the 400th anniversary of his death.
At least the crowds have dispersed. I just nipped into town at lunchtime to bank some money (none of it for me unfortunately) and caught a bit of a gap in the traffic .
There was originally a row of houses down the centre of Bridge Street, with a road up either side, but they were demolished long ago, leaving a nice wide open thoroughfare  as it is today.
