Another Wheatear

A fellow member of our Natural History Society came round this morning and together we sorted through some boxes of old photographic slides which had been gathering dust under someone's desk. The weather was pretty unpleasant but by this evening it had turned much nicer so after tea, I went for a wander. An unusual bird had been reported nearby and although I wasn't optimistic about being able to pick it out, I thought I might as well have a look. I didn't find it, but a treat was to see several batches of fluffy Lapwing chicks, and a couple of Wheatear. The slight blurring on this image is a snowflake, as there was a light flurry as I set off on my search.
