Downed, But Not Out

These daffodils have been rescued from the garden after being beaten down by the hail earlier in the week.  Their heads are just too big for their thin stems:-)  They are all slightly unusual varieties, so there was no way I was going to leave them to rot on the ground.

More mixed-up weather today, with hail, sleet, snow and rain all in the space of an hour!  It's settled down a bit now, but is still far too cold for this time of year.  Hope May will be warmer.
