Memories

It's odd sometimes how things trigger certain memories. I won't go into the trigger for this blip except to write that I've taken to wearing my mother's ring that was a present from my dad on their silver wedding day, which was also my wedding day, with the silver Ortak wedding ring that Colin gave me on our 25th anniversary. I find wearing them together comforting. I can vividly remember going with Dad into a little jeweller's shop in the arcade in Stirling in 1974 and helping him choose this gift.
