Now there's something not seen every day!

A nesting moorhen on a floating island of twigs and other vegetable debris,
I didn't know they do this, and it was in the Big Lake in East Park, Hull, today.
No sign of any chicks so  far by the way.
It's taken at a very long distance as I didn't want to disturb her. (or him?)
