The Hills of Arran

7.6C sunny and bright. Some cloud. NNW wind to 15 mph, no gusts.

This morning I rectified the issue with our broadband connection not connecting properly to sites like Blipfoto by using the provider's advice (via online chat) to restart the router. Then I set up our printer to be used with WiFi (I previously used USB cable as it was right next to my computer in our last house).

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk. I forgot to take the Nano.
We crossed the road and made our way across the park to the esplanade then walked round past the marina to the two quays of the harbour. The big ship we saw on Monday was being loaded with wind turbine sections I found out when we went for a walk before dinner yesterday. There was a smaller boat at the new quay today. It was another bright day, not feeling anywhere near as cold as the last couple of days as the wind had eased.

We carried on round the shore of Campbeltown Loch along the seaward side path in the long narrow park which is just past the ferry terminal, then carried on out Kilkerran Road. We went out a bit further today, past the cemetery. From this point you can clearly see the hills of Arran to the left of Davaar island and beyond the mouth of Campbeltown loch.

We came back along the street side of the park and made our way back though town to get home.
