Tiptoe through the tulips

Tulips come in all shapes, sizes and colours ..... this has to be one of the most ornate I have ever seen actually growing in the rather hard baked ground.  

Still cold here ..... do hope things warm up slightly for the holiday weekend.  I'm off to Fife but I don't think I'll pack my shorts!
