Cat-a-log

Surprised - dismayed even - to find new campus cats today hiding in  a neighbour's yard.  I saw Mum briefly - not much more than a kitten herself. They're very cute but oh dear - more mouths to be fed. I dare say there'll be others - it's that time of year and although we got several spayed and neutered last autumn, we (obviously!!) didn't get them all. Meanwhile, the injured campus cat I caught and took to the vet yesterday is recovering well from his operation but will stay with the vet till next week.  Sitting here writing this, Caroline and Elizabeth are sparked out on the sofas, and Harry is unconscious on the arm chair.  These little ones I saw today will probably never know such comfort.
