An Award

26th April 2016:

We have been working with DIT, Dublin Institute of Technology, since 2008 It's the largest third Level Institution in Ireland with over 30,000 students in a wide range of disciplines.
Our real attraction is their programme of Students Learning with Communities where Mary is on the Advisory Board. In terms of real education it is light years ahead in that students incorporate real, life experiences into their academic endeavours.
As the award says we are involved in a wide range of disciplines from Science, Technology, Engineering to working with student Dieticians this year.
Students also come to Malawi either as volunteers or as part of their course placements. It is a great place to be and their students never cease to amaze us.
This is Mary's award but they gave one to me as well.

The picture which  came from Leslie Shoemaker, is of the presentation at St Laurence's Church on the Grangeman DIT Campus. A lovely venue.
