Back-blip 3 of 3…..

A very successful final day of our Customer conference marred by the news that our flight home had been cancelled due to airport ground staff strikes! Having arranged for a flight the next day we headed to the Movenpick hotel for our extra night and, as luck would have it, I was given the so-called Manhattan Skyline Suite comprising hallway, toilet, loge/dining room, bedroom, bathroom with shower and hide & hers sinks and, wait for it, a sauna!! A real pity that I didn't have time to use it. What's more, it was the same rate as my colleagues were charged for their standard room. Result.

Later we met with some other colleagues who live locally for dinner and had a very pleasant evening.
