On the Lake

There was only one black swan in view on the lake at the Taylor Dam this morning. Maisie and I paused beside the water to watch the swan and Greylag Geese swimming towards us. Alas, we had no food to offer them. They seemed to sense that and swam off towards the island on the lake.
Another glorious day here but it is getting very dry and very little rain is forecast in the near future.
