Exciting day today, discovered two baby courgettes hiding under all those lush green leaves on my terrace and also discovered there is such a thing as a Slug Pub, a nifty little contraption that you fill with beer to entice slugs and snails and, well, drown them.... so I started a new career as a slug publican down the allotment this afternoon and hope the little munching monsters are not teetotal.
