Hepatica landscape

I've been driving around checking how ditches and drainage do their job on various fields. It has rained a lot this week and the water levels have risen quite high after being relatively low for the time of year last week. On the way home I spotted these Hepaticas blooming by the side of the road.

Camera club meeting in the evening. This time we had a special guest, professional portrait photographer Mitja Kortepuro. She's a great photographer, but her presentation was not just beautiful, it was also a lot of fun. A great evening and we had larger-than-usual audience, too.
