Breaking the Rules

I was asked yesterday whether I used a tripod for the image.  I answered yes, and  (nearly) always.  Well today was a nearly day.  I wanted to get to the gym for a swim and I was running late.  So I broke my own rules, increased the ISO, opened the aperture up and took 5 hand held images, each 1 stop apart.  When I got home this evening I allowed photo merge to do its magic and this is the result.  OK it's no prize winner, but it just goes to show what modern technology can achieve.
