A moment in time

Eyebright

Eyebright is a small plant, usually growing amongst grasses, with bright flowers clustered together on leafy stems. Each flower is about 5-10mm long, lilac or white, often with a yellow centre. Eyebright is used to treat sore eyes, nasal congestion and catarrh. They flower from June through September, and are easily missed as they are so small.

We were walking with the club today and we were very fortunate in the weather, nice and sunny most of the day, and quite warm enough to walk without a sweater. It was lovely to catch up with everyone after our trip.
