I've driven past this place for 30 years and never look the time to explore what lays behind the embankment... today was the day that all changed.. 

turns out it's a flood water area that may well protect our village from flood waters... (perhaps the locals will enlighten me if they know more about this place.) adj. to Sainbury/B&Q Haverhill
