Celebration

Our second eldest Grandaughter Emily has reached that special age. She requested that I make the cake, she did not want a bought one. I am not good at doing fancy iceing, the making of the cake is no problem at all.

Emily is at York University training to be an opera singer, which explains the music theme around the cake.
When the cake is cut it will give the effect of a checker board, brown and white squares.
We will be tasting it tomorrow at a big family dinner.
