Haycock, Scoat Fell and Steeple

Took a drive round to Ennerdale today to try a 10 1/2 mile walk taking in Haycock, Scoat Fell and Steeple - three fells I got very close to when I was in Wasdale a few weeks back. What a contrast in the weather. A few weeks ago, in winter, I was walking with crampons and an ice axe, now in the balmy spring weather ....... 

........ I was almost blown off the hills and pounded by blizzards!

Still enjoyed a fabulous walk - Steeple in particular is amazing, although I wouldn't recommend it in high winds!

By the way - the "sensor marks" all over the picture is falling snow!
