Pulsatilla - the droplets catcher

My little pulsatilla in the garden is a perfect catcher of droplets.

When I moved from my apartment closed to the botanic garden, I decided that I had to try to grow some of my favorites there in my own garden. The growing conditions is not so good here, but I'm pleased that the pulsatilla seems to survive.

I like it because that it choose to bloom early in spring and to manage the cold weather it covers its self in long fur. It's not only pretty, it's also useful. It has been used as a medical herbs, and is still used in homeopathy and Chinese medicine and by native Americans.

Happy International Workers Day!
