Polo

Last week our Polo went off her food and drink. She had blood tests which came back abnormal but not really helpful, then they thought she had pancreatitis, that was negative.

She was losing 50g a day which for a little pussy cat is a lot.

Then the vets took her in on Friday because she still not eating. They put her on fluids, pain killers and anti-sickness.They then gave her an ultra sound scan of her belly looking for tumours, not a good thing. Thankfully it turns out she had been a bit of a piggy and had eaten a rather large mouse or rat and was then unable to digest the bones! She has had 48 hours of medicine and lots of vet and nurse cuddles and is now home feeling and looking much better.
