Hawker

A Brown Hawker Dragonfly*. Flew over as we were getting bikes out for a trip to sign Amy up to the summer reading challenge at the local library. Immediately landed on the neighbours garden wall ..... and stayed there! Perhaps only recently emerged and needing to soak up some of the suns rays, he was still there when we got back.

*I think this is a female Brown Hawker but would be happy to be told it was the rarer Norfolk Hawker by one of the experts out there :-)

Am I the only one to be reminded of Star Wars by the heads of these guys?
