Barn Owl Wings

Mono Monday today is wings. As I don't intend going out anywhere today is an inside blip.
One of the things I miss since having moved from the country to a town is the Barn Owl. We lived opposite an arable field and we frequently saw the barn owl surfing up and down the hedgerow looking for dinner.
Barn owls have almost silent flight and a very low wing load meaning they can fly very slowly without stalling. Perfect for pinpointing their prey!
My favourite bird ever, they are just so beautiful to watch in the wild. And that face, just fab.
So this is a canvas picture hung in my office where I can see it every day.
