highlands

We had a beautiful cooked breakfast and then headed out to drive along the "Road to the Isles", towards Mallaig.  We stopped on the road in a few places to take pictures.  It was a grey day, but the scenery was still breathtaking.

Mallaig was a decent wee coastal town.  We had a wander around the shops and went for a coffee and cake (and doggy ice cream for Coquine - she's on her holidays too!)

Had dinner in the bar - langoustines for me and the venison burger for Pierre :)  We are going to be sad to leave tomorrow!
