Solitary Sparrow

Another day of contrasts ... heavy rain first thing so it was a wellie walk along the beach where we watched the ever changing colours in the sky.  Ominous black clouds hanging over the harbour while the sun was shining over Chapel Green at the other end of the beach. By the time we had the car packed and were ready for the 'off' the weather, if a trifle windy, was beautifully sunny.

Last blip from Fife for some weeks.  I think this is a female sparrow but as I couldn't see the wings properly I'm not sure.  These spindly branches are a great favourite with the sparrows ..... not much to eat on them though.
