Native bluebells

Bluebells are starting to flower on Wooler Common. Spotted only these native bluebells - the others are, unfortunately, the non-native Spanish bluebells.

Two short walks today, on the Common this morning and near Bewick this afternoon. MrM and I had intended to go for a much longer walk from Bewick, to try and find the hill forts, but the weather deteriorated... well, it is a bank holiday!
