Spring Shrubbery

Not much to blip today. This was taken from the back door in the evening light.
My track record of naming flowers and plants is quite frankly abysmal so I'll see what others think this is.
I'm going for a type of japonica but that's only because I googled yellow Spring shrubs.
I blame goggle if I'm barking up the wrong tree again.
