Is it a sign?

Simon alerted me to the fact that there appears to be something newly installed on the island signpost at the intersection of Govetts and the highway.  

Could it possibly be a speed camera????

Who knows??  

We've been asking for a safety camera at this intersection for years and it seems too much to hope for that finally someone is listening.

For all those with superior knowledge of such things, I'd be delighted to be better informed.
