It Doesn't Always Rain in Manchester

Not too bad a sleep in J's student room, mind you, I did get the bed; J and M on the floor. Certainly warmer than our house in Portugal. A great shower and treated to a breakfast of porridge and good coffee by daughter before her 9 o'clock lecture.

Sunshine last night backlighting all the glorious blossom, and sunshine again this morning as we walked out to meet Nick for a last English breakfast - great food, greater conversation.

At airport now, awaiting boarding, reading the guardian, and introducing the barista to the benefits of pomegranate water for sore throats - she was rather mystified that we wanted a bottle with bits of skin in, to be refilled with water.
