Looking ahead

Well.

Today represents a milestone. Two, actually.

500 blips and forty years.

I could review what is passed, but I generally consider it's most productive to look forward.

So thank you - to all who have made blipping a marvellous, engaging and creative experience over the last year & a half.


And to all who have made this weekend wonderful.

Especially to Odey, who has done both.

These port & starboard markers at the mouth of Whitby harbour reminded me of the best 'looking forward' piece of advice I know. It's taken from the wholly wonderful Dr Seuss: Oh! The Places You'll Go!

"So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact
and remember that Life's
a Great Balancing Act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot with your left."
