Sign of Spring

I finished work early this afternoon and made a 70-mile round trip to the Dearne Valley in South Yorkshire for an evening meeting and visit to a state-of-the-art waste recycling facility.

The plant was virtually next door to the Old Moor RSPB reserve so I called in in search of blip opportunities.

I didn't have long there but spotted a couple of male Orange Tip butterflies which are regarded as a true sign of spring (see extra).

I was late home so haven't had much chance to catch up with comments.
