Norman

This is Norman. He was Aberdeen Football Clubs' number one fan.
He was 89 and went to every home game and many away games.
He died yesterday.
This is the tributes outside Pittodrie that the fans left for him yesterday evening. Expect more tomorrow.
The local evening paper came and took photographs also.
He used to dress all the time in his football supporters' gear until a few years ago when he got beat up. The club, at one point, gave him an award for being the most loyal supporter.
He also always wore one red sock and one white sock. A lot of the fans will be doing this at the next home game, as well as giving him a minutes' applause on the 89th minute of the game.
He sat in the same stand as I did and I saw him there every week.
He was a legend. R.I.P. Norman.
