Meet Mabel

Oh my goodness, we are giddy with excitement!  After almost two years without a wire haired dachshund in the house, we are about to welcome this bundle of wonderfulness into our hearts. 

This picture was taken not long after Mabel was born, and she is now five months old -- her breeder had been planning on keeping her to show, but as she has matured she is a little over the desirable weight limit.  (Well, who isn't if one is honest!)
