Salad Days

Visited Side in Turkey today, lots of beautiful remnants of ancient civilisations reminded us why we like it here, see extra pic of the the stunningly photogenic Temple of Apollo....
We had an adventure getting here, travelling 50 miles by public buses... including changing in Manavgat where the bus station doesn't seem to have any real system to it. We ended up being hustled onto buses unconvinced they were going where we wanted..., however all was well. The local buses here operate privately, but by license so the driver benefits buy the number of passengers on board. Which means as many people as possible are crammed in, with many more standing than there are seats. The driver stops at every stop and somehow more people get on, sometimes several people have to get off temporarily  to allow people who do want to get off to do so!
My blip today though is of the simple salad we had for lunch which was so beautifully presented it seemed a shame to eat it... but we did.
