The Bells The Bells

A little bit of sunshine after the rain and spring has sprung. Myself and son Andy are off to Cornwall tomorrow for our annual pilgrimage to my home town of Helston which hosts Flora Day on Saturday. I'm very privileged to be invited to play with the town band who lead processions of dancers around the streets during the day, which includes a funfair, market stalls, the Hal-an-Tow (dancing and singing of pagan origins) and much 'beverage'-fuelled merriment. Also a great opportunity to catch up with family and friends. Can't wait.

We're playing golf on the way down at St Mellion, a Jack Nicklaus designed course near Saltash. The golf bag is already loaded with plenty of golf balls!

Anyway, likely to be back-blipping when we return next Monday with a large consignment of pasties.
