Diligent little worker

This lil' beauty appeared in a small net on the backside of my shed about 2 weeks ago. I've photographed her almost every day since and watched her web grow into one of the biggest ones I've ever seen. Tonight her web was suddenly gone, but it looks like she has started on a new one. For some reason I can't explain, it seemed like all her food was still there. I wonder how she did that. Spiders are truly amazing creatures.
