Cylinders

the cylinders of my other half John's 1923 Rudge V Twin motor bike. His pride and joy, it is quite a rare bike and he spends ages maintaining it and enjoying it - he regularly does a 150 mile round trip along the country roads of southern Scotland, just for fun. It is 1000cc, its top speed is around 40pmh, quite loud, cruising speed around 35, but afficionados like to hear it running at about 25 mph, when apparently it sounds like a heart-beat - boom-boom, boom-boom! (boys and their toys!)

John also has a 1928 Sunbeam motor bike, a 75 year old wooden yacht in bits, a major restoration project, and we jointly own the 1922 Chevrolet that has featured in blip.

In fact, the joke in our family is that John loves anything old - including his women, as he is 7 years younger than me!

this is my entry for the weekend blip challenge - "cylinders"
