An Adventure

Today, I went on a bit of an adventure by myself. I had heard about a road called the "Rock Island Grade." I decided to go up the grade to look for wildflowers. I didn't realize that the road was dirt and very long and very windy and very narrow. My knuckles were tight fisted on the steering wheel. Luckily, I didn't come across any other traffic as I drove along. After climbing for a couple of miles, I found myself on top of a plateau. I felt like I was on top of the world! There were wheat fields, and sage brush and lupine. I hear there is a ghost town up there and I'll certainly go back up to find it.
