Keld Heads lead smelt mill

Today I went for a beautiful walk under blue skys with my daughter, Maria, and our two young dogs - Jimmy and Finn. We set off from Leyburn to walk along the top of Leyburn Shawl and then decended across fields populated by sheep and their young lambs. We then came across the start of many parts of the Keld Head Smelt mill and mine complex before making our way back through Wensley to Leyburn. On route we collected a small number of geocaches. Beautiful day out in excellent company.
The extra blips are the view across to the Dales from the Shawl and a sign on a gate which reads 'Penalty for Neglect £2' There was no sign of neglect in the lovely garden behind said sign.
