Old Exeter

A spot of retail therapy for M today in Exeter which turned out to be quite successful. I fulfilled the role of driver, porter and occasional photographer. The collage is of the ruins of St Catherine's Almshouses dating back to the 13c - at the bottom left the clematis is climbing towards the bell tower of the old chapel.A glimpse of the Cathedral tower is visible in the distance and the extra is a view of the top of the tower which fortunately didn't involve me in any climbing, just lunch in the cafe on top of the John Lewis store.
