Bluebells and Wild Garlic Woods

I was out walking with our local walking group on this very warm sunny day.  It was a delightful walk starting from the outskirts of Exeter and walking around Killerton Park to Broadclyst.  We slowly walked past a cow that had just given birth, see extra, and skirted through several woods filled with bluebells.  One of these was also edged with wild garlic flowers, see photo above.

Our 12 mile walk took us all day but we ambled along peaking in all the churches we encompassed, identifying various wild flowers,  noting the orange tip butterflies and stopping for afternoon tea and cakes.  An enjoyable day that felt more like summer than spring.
